a little bit about my self:
1st car 1990/ 1983 rabbit gti stock sold 1992 for 85 hotrod gmc 2wd
last dub sold pre vortex era 1998/1984 rabbit gti modded w/neuspeed t/b, strut bars f/r, sways f/r ,lower springs, a/r rims ,euro bumps, blacked headlights,respray blk,stereo.i go to tears thinking of that car and that i sold it in'98 for $1500
on to present day: got wifey the 09 civic si and when i drove it,all i thought of was my gti. well i had a dirtbike and a 4 wheeler not getting much use,so on to c/l they went,i was looking for a mk2 gti.
well i end up with this fine corrado!

fully document 117k bone stock,everything but a/c works

its my perfect starting point!! no rot at all!! just some worts! spent its whole life in n.e.

you know that was my first thought too. I went looking through some old pics and it had 7 spoke wheels, was dumped on coils and most of the lights were blacked out by the guy who got it from me...

this one looks to be a great starting point, Im hoping to find somethin similar in the spring

yeh me and rich spoke about the car.
i got it from a kid in rumney area, so some of you may have seen it before. he bought it from his aunt in'02 and theres only like 30k on it since then,so i think it sat alot from late '06 cause if was faded a lot.
but it must have been washed religiously and garaged til then.
runs the balls kid dumped a ton into it '06/'07. the g has about 25k on it so maybe an upgrades coming next year.
gonna do the suspension and brakes and all the bushings and lose the a/c and p/s and wort removing this winter. also want to make my own frt.bump this winter too.

I remember this car! It had a ton of problems (As did mine). I took mine to KTM in plymouth, and it sat right next to this car for quite some time.

ill have to look at the workorders and see if ktm is in there. had a head job and reseal in '06 dont remember off hand. but that was probably it. now i gotta look when i get home.
he had it somewhere right before i got it and swapped in used rear springs/caliper crap, that was late may. took him awhile before i could look at it.

maine auto in hillsboro = frt wheel bearings 6/'02
euro-sport motorcar in merrimac = g latter rebuild 9/'03
kirk's truck+auto in plymouth= nh inspec/exh hanger 9/"03
sam the moblie automann= head/reseal motor/clutch whole 9yrds=5/06. think hes in laconia (455#) no address
but thats pretty much it in his folder.
his aunts kept alot better records than he did! just his is all the big$ ?
hers is ridiculousnumbers crunching with salesman note ridiculous)8/'90 (huh month after i got my license)

guy that rebuilt your charger is the guy who got my old C. His name is oliver and he imported the only polo g40 in the US. http://www.orz-motorsport.com. Funny, when you charger was rebuilt was when I he got my car cuz I traded for an 03 gti 24v

isnt that funny! i have to say he did a good job.got 22k on it and still makes 9-9.5 lbs and its quiet. cost kid $1338. to do the charger. it needed a misc used g60 part that was $300. wasnt your a stage 3. i think thats the price for a stage3 from kk.
did he really trade you an '03gti for a '90 corrado? in '03?

mk3 newbie question.. can i disable the factory alarm with vag com.. this one decideds to go off when a door is opened (sometimes..)

I will be at the show with eric helping the spaulding folk with any last minute stuff and also to get cars parked when everyone arrives.

I am only bringing the GTI as of now. The CGT Quattro may be going to its winter home before the show.

Eric - I still havent heard anything from the Spaulding about grading the parking lot or the mowing -good, bad, or ugly.

Can you post or IM me the best way to get ahold of Slayton? (I'm not sure the proper spelling of his name.)

The Grim cruise was fun. The Leaf peepers kinda made it weak in places, but overall a good time.

I'd like anyone that's not doing the cruise to be at the Spalding for noon. That will give us some time to go over the gameplan for parking and set up the club tent etc. The dash plaque stickers will be done early this week as well as staff shirts. Anyone that registers will get a dash plaque until we run out, which I hope wont happen. As far as other stickers goes, it would be nice to have some WMWC decals made up. I only ordered the show decals. Rich where are we on that? and have you done a final dash card layout to be printed? I know you were going to tweak the one you came up with a while back.

finally had a coilpack go bum on my car, and it only took 40,000miles since i got it, who knows when they were changed before that..

another story, women are retarded and i need a new clutch

to clarify not all women are retarded, just what this one did was retarded.

goes to launch in first rides the clutch doesnt let it grab, floors it burns the clutch til 6800rpm shifts to 2nd...k you think were safe right...well she floors it before the clutch is let all the way out and must have been riding it as well because she burnt that gear all the way to 6800 as well

i can still drive it and it doesnt slip while in gear, but launching in first is really tricky now...there is essentially no clutch point...it almost chatters in spots too..

theres nothing left on the clutch disk hah, burnt to metal

I had a GF one time that broke 2 motor mounts on 2 different cars, learning how to drive a manual. She had the opposite problem and didn't use the clutch at all.
