As always, I love BFI. Installed my 3pc kit on my 4th vdub with mounts from bfi.
Some things I wanted to note,
1- send bolts with the kit, the stock ones are 1/2" too long (no threads) to install the mounts into the frame of the car. I didnt have bolts at work, so i just tapped on more threads and put in a lock washer.
or just make the lower plate as thick as the stock one, but then it would hit the wiring harness, or the ps resivour. so, yea just add some bolts for people.
I ghetto rigged a setup for the ps resivour. m7x80 bolt, washer, m8 nut, then m7 nut for the other side. works fine, but for $400 a nice "custom made for mounts" piece of metal would be nice.
Overall I am very happy, again, with BFI for their quality products and engineering skills!
A little video for those people wondering about vibrations, lol, it will tame down no doubt.

You should have received replacement hardware with your mounts.
If you did not, I do apologize for the inconvenience.
If you're still in need of these bolts, please PM me.

I formal notice for everyone who purchased MkIV Complete Replacement Transmission Mounts.
We are experiencing a shortage of transmission mounts due to the high volume of orders received last week and over the holiday weekend.
More mounts will be available within the next 1-3 weeks.
I promise you we are doing our best to get these back in stock asap.
If you have any questions, please PM me.
One question though, are the mounts supposed to be able to turn? I noticed I was able to spin the mount top and base some back and forth when I was installing them. when I jacked the trans up it pushed the mount bushing sideways, I was able to move it back, but the top and bottom can turn some like 1/4" . The bolt holding it all together was tight. maybe its just the stg 1 mounts are softer then im used to with the stg 2 and they actually have pliability lol!
Will have more pics for y'all next week. Once I'm finished shaving the bay and throwing them in there. These are AMAZING mounts, your pictures don't do them justice. Plus I have yet to see pictures of a set in a clean bay, or any bay. Except the shot of the yellow ones in a stock bay.
Oh and when I pull the engine for stroke and BT, I will be copper plating the metal of the mounts.
