lol definitely not crap. they've been on my car for almost 45k miles. still ride like new, i get compliments on the comfort all the time. and i have the cheapest ones available. fk highsports. if i had to do it again, id get silverlines just because of the stainless.

thanks everyone! yeah i definitely still have my emblem, it got washed out by the flash, along with the antennae.

im very happy with how they came out since we didnt have any lighting other than the flash.

I cloned out the antenna and the rear emblem a long with a couple stickers on the license plate too.

I took out the inspection sticker and the easy pass on the front end shot as well.

Wow, those came out way better than I expected them to.

Likewise. Wasn't expecting such results from just a 580EXII and a 15" beauty dish.

this trim might fit on four door golfs.. arent the doors the same as jettas? i know at least the dash pieces will work.

Talk to Mike to see if they sell blanks for those spots because I think he tried doing that but may have ran into a issue. He had mention something to me about it before I had put the GTI wheel into his old jetta. It really is a simple job I think there is a diy somewhere around here.

got the wheel installed last night thanks to mike, and a few other friends. a lot easier than expected after we figured the clips out. but here's the final product! im very happy with the look and feel, now i just need either a GLI or .:R badge for the bottom insert and the aluminum look inserts for where the buttons are now!

You should get a blank aluminum insert instead of the GLI insert. Also, the button inserts, do they replace the buttons? You have to be careful with those older style steering wheels (MY06) because the paint will peel.

they do replace the buttons, as of right now. the wheel is in excellent condition, its not even that really obnoxious shiny black that most leather wheels turn into after a few years. im very happy with what i got. i was expecting to have to rewrap it. and i dont really want a blank one for the bottom, kinda wanted a little bling.
