just put in the dash tray too. much simpler than i thought, i was afraid to put the force into it that was needed to remove the vent.

Looks good, but I think you should black out the shield or go GT with it to bring out the wheels.

I think they lose their classy touch and look more off a pep boy shelf.

    My opinion

im starting to agree. all of my co-workers and my boss like them with the black. but it just seems cheesy. if i end up keeping the wheels i really need to think of something fun to do with them. im just bored right now.

Im thinking what would make them look better or different and not lose the classy clean look. Maybe Polish them up? Color match the edges?

i was thinking maybe keep the center the polished look, and maybe paint the spokes a metallic blue, something dark but with bright flakes. or possibly maroon.

Yea or do a crazy color like that and accent it around the rest of the car. The shield, mirror caps, emblems etc. All or some of those.

I think i can dig that. Polished centers and colored edges. I like the way you think.

lol thanks man, im leaning more towards blue, ducky really has the burgandy thing down pat and i really dont wanna intrude on his little theme. plus this is patriots country, might aswell sport the blue and silver.

Haha, blue and silver would def work. Subtle but bring it all together

i took them off the car today and i completely cleaned them, wanted the caps off so i could get all the brake dust out of the spokes.

lol, i dont know if that was sarcasm or not. but its a flooded parking lot, not a boat launch.

no way man, he just got it last spring and has already cleaned it up a bunch. and its probably lower than any other i car i know of on coils. the front valence would scrape on a big pebble. i have high hopes for the car. he dropped in a jetta manual transmission under the 16v and got some nice tan leather seats inside.

First time I've seen this buildup. I really like your Jetta. It looks OEM+ with the SC430's which is pretty ironic. I definitely like them all silver and I personally think they look more aggressive without the centercaps.

Edit: About your suspension. That shouldn't cause any warranty issues unless the coilovers cause the problem itself or I suppose if you cracked your oilpan or something from being too low.

But I wouldn't worry about it, my dealership sees lowered cars all day and they don't care. Hell, they even do installations. And say the actual coilover was to fail i.e. the shock blows. That wouldn't be warranteed obviously but then you just call FK or put the stock stuff back on.

I wouldn't put the stock suspension back on. I did that for the winter and I regretted it because 1.) It took us so long to do so, and 2.) We broke one of the bolts to my passenger ball joint so I've got to replace that now.

on another note, i just found these wheels on craigslist for a decent price. possibly a replacement for the sc430's?

B5 RS4 wheels. Not bad. I don't know though, I personally like the 430's. But a photoshop can't hurt anything!
