I'm interested in one because I'm doing my timing belt/water pump soon but I don't see any info on the benefits of this belt. Did I miss it?

Typically speaking Kevlar constructed belts are 3 to 4 times more stronger than regular timing belts. On top of that they do not stretch and the teeth do not sheer off the belt like we have seen in the past with respect to timing belt failures that have plagued this forum.
Of course I am not going to market this belt as an OE replacement belt. This is more for the performance oriented guy who is looking for a belt that will eliminate one more problematic area of failure.

You can use this belt outright on your stock set up.We are developing a mechanical tensioner conversion kit....just waiting on the studs to be done.

The mechanical tensioner conversion is going to be no more than $50.

cool...So, since I have the metal water pump, I should theoretically be able to get ~100k out of my belt setup, right? I know you need the 16v pulley tool but what is the retorque interval?

You dont need a tool for the 16V pulley Eric.
Long nose plier and tension the belt like old school and you will be fine.
I do not want to market the belt as a belt that will theoretically last longer than OEM.
We all know how the MKIV crowd can be when all of a sudden I have guys with Kevlar belts failures after running them for 300,000 km's.It is a recipe for disaster...

Can the belts last longer than 100,000 km's? I am sure they can as the construction is MUCH tougher but again, that is not what I want to use as a selling point.
