out of curiousity, why are you lookin for that particular driver seat? Is it to make sure that both seats are able to sit at the same position? One thing i have about my seats, is how the passenger seat can't sit as low as the driver seat. It was the same way on my mkIII as well.

All the uk drivers seat bolsters are worn... wanted a left hand drive passenger seat as they are generally used less and better condition.. i will swap the cover so i can keep the uk driver seat height adjustment... Think that makes sense... i know what i meant... I think... I know what you mean about only one seat height adjustable.... you could solve that with a UK drivers seat in you passenger side???

Best bet may be ebay.de... I've been to a handful of break yards around here and have yet to see that pattern.

    Sorry man, good luck though

Still after that seat anyone???....Bit of a result with the heat gun, fed up with forever blacking over white/grey bits so spent the money bought myself a heat gun and after half an hour cleaning of all the lotions and balms rubbed in over the years this is the result, completely untreated and in the buff

Looks great. IMO the heat gun method is the best was, as it holds up the longest. I used it on the Syncro over a year ago, and had the same results you did. This is what I started with:
