Hahahahahaha. I was thinking the same thing! An Exacto knife and a straight edge could have saved a lot of time. Looks good though!

Thanks guys. And yep...vinyl a straight edge and a paper cutter. Oh and about 3 hours of work. I used a heater and stretched the white around the mirror to make it flush. I was probably watching Rob and Big or something lol.

Sorry i'm too baffled to be impressed. It looks good though.

I'm thinking of painting it black and then doing the white vynil pin stripe.

What paint did you guys use? The mirror is kinda textured so i'm not sure if plastic paint will work well or not...

I tried the exact same thing, but I had a Gorilla Gear trunk mat. That velcro is so strong that the sub flipped over and stayed connected to the mat. In the Jetta the carpet doesn't have the same texture and this doesn't really work. I'm not sure why the Golf and Jetta received completely different interior carpet...

I did the licence plate change.
I want to do the tow hook but I guess where the tow hook goes it's bent downword maybe from a previous accident?
I'm also gonna do the plaid mirrors but I'm gonna do red white black and thin gold stripes.

The car is dirty as hell because of the construction taking place on my street. That's not even my driveway. Mine is blocked off.

ull need a sharp razor( xacto), mesure the foglights with ur vents make sure there lined up with ur headlights as much as possible. ur gonna have to play with the angle cus u dont want them aiming to much at the floor or to much facing upwards.

u will need to remove that piece . it souldnt be hard just grip it on with the visegrip move left and right and it should come right off, like that the fog can rest on the washers perfect.

ull need some washers and a bolt

    2 or 3 coats

this was a hard part running the wires thru this car!! i found my own way thru it lol.. u already know bolt a negative wire sumwere on the metal frame were the foglights r conected.connect a positive to the battery with a fuze etc..

ill get a night shot for u can see how how bright they are!

Where did you get those fog lights? They look pretty sturdy....I have no problem painting a set of fogs for a decent look but most of the after market fog lights I have seen are cheap and flimsy.

dam, I havent seen this one, Im glad I didnt bother buying the premade ones. Then again, I cant use it any way because I would only have on side. My bumper has the plate holes filled so my plate is on the tow hook...and I got a ticket after a week of running plateless...
