My MFD reminds me how unique I am on cold days. As unique as a single snowflake it tells me.

if you hold the a/c and recirc button together, they start blinking for like 5 seconds and hot air comes out of the vents for like 10 seconds....very strange

If you try and lock the car with anything still open you dont get the little honk untill you close whatever is open.

Oh and if you go really low and dont get an aligment your front tires only last about 5k.

I love how the radio plays the "Seatbelts on" chime just like in an airplane. And not so much as anything to get excited over, but if you have the UK cluster settings the chime for seatbelts is different and much more persistent. And you will also realize that the turn signal clicking is prerecorded and computer generated... the sound goes away when the seatbelt chime is on.

The majority of North American cars don't have this enabled.

Can be done with Vagcom in most cases though.

Mine is enabled. Use it all the time!

I really like how there are two red LEDs that make my hand glow red on the shifter at night. That's something you never notice until after you own one...

"Ambient Lights" I wish they were brighter though.

    Logic'd.

The two red LEDs on the overhead console was the first thing I tried to turn off with VCDS. No way, so I put a small sticker over each of them. Now I can enjoy the cool lighting of the instruments. Now if only the radio display could be read without direct sunlight on it. IMHO

If you only have the front wipers on and you put the car in reverse it will automatically put the rear wiper on until you select a forward gear (at least in DSG cars).

If you unlock your door using the key blade and hold it in the unlock position it puts all four windows down and closes all the windows if you hold it in the lock position. Seems almost useless most of the time, but it's nice during the summer when the interior is really hot.

When you get out of your car and open your Trunk with the key fob. Your car automatically locks after you close the trunk.

It locks even if you didn't hit the lock button?? It shouldn't, or at least mine doesn't. The only time mine will lock is if the trunk is open and then I press the lock button on the key pad and then close the trunk, the doors will lock

How bloody hard do you have to brake for this to happen!?! I was changing lanes on the highway once, the car in the lane I just went into slammed on its brakes for some stupid reason, I was already doing about 130 KM/H. I basically had to mat the brake pedal so hard I locked the wheels and started turning sideways. Thankfully I was able to stop in time, this left one question, why no ABS? I didn't have the 4-ways come on either.

Mine does this as well, I still hit the lock button anyways out of habit.

I just know I'm going to drop my keys in the trunk and lock them in there one day... Ugh.

I'm trying to recall exactly how to so this(I'm in class at moment) but anyway there is a way to get a more accurate speed reading than from the speedo itself goes something like this:

With car on and hvac system on hold the Econ hvac button and the air directional up button(looks like a person but has an arrow pointing up) the screen that normally displays what temp setting you have will show some weird numbers turn the driver side temp to display -19(I think I'll double check after class and repost) and then turn the middle knob once to the right and the passenger side temp setting will now read your current mph

I believe you have to have it activated through vag com. I had mine activated, it's called emergency assist. 2009 and newer came already enabled...

I just learned my car had tis a few months ago because you cant see it from the inside.. but only on 06's if you have your headlights on and you pull the stalk back to spray the windows little headlight washers will pop out of your bumper and spray the headlights, (and the holy hood and leave watermarks everywhere so dont bother. its cool to watch though.)
