FYI, they made a porn parody of The Human Centipede. It's not as weird as you'd think.

I thought this movie was very good. I found those chicks to be really hot for some reason, too bad for the guy that he ended up where he did. - well actually it was for the better I guess

I wouldn't have thought this movie would go so far, but I was happy when it did

I know if I was a girl who didn't know how to change tires; rather than running through the woods in high heels, I'd be driving that rental car on a flat tire. Bishes.

Finally watched it yesterday (thumbs up for Netflix finally arriving in Canada) and it was not bad, for what it is. I like how it plays on the fears of helplessness more than a lot of gore in your face, interested to see where the sequel goes.

Seriously, X1000 - not since the first 30 minutes or so of The Descent have I wanted to brutally murder some stupid young girls out of general principle (i.e. that freaking way too long pajama party in the cabin scene) "Gee, we have a flat tire and we're too stupid to do it ourselves (read the user manual for crying out loud - you had your rental paperwork in it, it's got step by step directions!!!!!!!!) so we're just going to wonder off into the woods - yay girl power!"

I just finished watching it on Netflix, wasn't anywhere close to what I was expecting. Not saying it was bad (except for the acting) per se, but it wasn't what I was expecting - I was expecting something alot more graphic than that (and yes, to me, that movie was nothing compared to some of the stuff I've seen). I do think if they ever need a guy to play Christopher Walken in a movie, Dieter Laser is their guy!

well said previous poster. i'm still finishing it on netflix as well. i saw this in another thread & thought it looked eerily familiar:

I rented and watched this finally last night. And I'm now like...

It was better than I expected but man...what a situation to be in.

And when the guy had to go number 2......

And to be stuck as the "middle" at the end of the movie....

After that I may be willing to see Teeth.

My exact thoughts. Teeth was alright, to boring in the start though.

Teeth was better because it was a more light hearted/humorous film - meant more from a dark humor perspective. Although there were times in Human Centipede that I was laughing too

How have I missed this thread...

Hands down the most jacked up movie of 2010, but I loved it!
And yes there is something wrong with me.

I watched it by myself and then my fiance came home and I told her I just watched it, and she was interested. Needless to say she had some nightmares.

This movie is just what society needs, something different that makes you think. And also freaks you out a little.
There has to be people out there that would actually want to do this, sadly.

The acting wasn't great, and it wasn't bad it was in the middle, the doctor was a total nut job. They did a great job casting him for the roll.

I watched this via Netflix instant play and gave it a 4/5 stars, and would give it a 8.5/10 just for the shock factor.

Saw this last night. It was retarded, but about what I expected. It was a bit less graphic than I thought it would be, which is a relief.

I've heard that this is one of Canismush.'s favorite movies.

She watches it every night when she eats dinner.

If you all thought THAT was ****ed up.......

Part 2 was blocked from the BBFC. It is supposed to be released soon... Here is some of the graphic info

The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence), tells the story of a man who becomes sexually obsessed with a DVD recording of the first film and who imagines putting the ‘centipede’ idea into practice. Unlike the first film, the sequel presents graphic images of sexual violence, forced defecation, and mutilation, and the viewer is invited to witness events from the perspective of the protagonist. Whereas in the first film the ‘centipede’ idea is presented as a revolting medical experiment, with the focus on whether the victims will be able to escape, this sequel presents the ‘centipede’ idea as the object of the protagonist’s depraved sexual fantasy.

The principal focus of The Human Centipede II (Full Sequence) is the sexual arousal of the central character at both the idea and the spectacle of the total degradation, humiliation, mutilation, torture, and murder of his naked victims. Examples of this include a scene early in the film in which he masturbates whilst he watches a DVD of the original Human Centipede film, with sandpaper wrapped around his penis, and a sequence later in the film in which he becomes aroused at the sight of the members of the ‘centipede’ being forced to defecate into one another’s mouths, culminating in sight of the man wrapping barbed wire around his penis and raping the woman at the rear of the ‘centipede’. There is little attempt to portray any of the victims in the film as anything other than objects to be brutalised, degraded and mutilated for the amusement and arousal of the central character, as well as for the pleasure of the audience. There is a strong focus throughout on the link between sexual arousal and sexual violence and a clear association between pain, perversity and sexual pleasure.
