Sure, maybe he was going 20mph, what if some kid ran out in front of his car? With the SEVERE lack of road-tire contact, he would not be able to stop any where near the amount of time/space that a proper car would be able to, let alone swerve out of the way. What if he wasn't looking where he was going and didn't see the car ahead of him stopped? Same freaking idea.
