For sale: I'm installing a 2L in my '84 Rabbit GTI and I'm putting the stock 1.8L engine up for sale for $100. If you act now, you can go for a ride in it, and see how good the engine runs, before I pull it. It has around 140K miles on it, the oil was always changed around 3000 miles, according to the previous owner, and the odometer still works... It doesn't burn oil, doesn't smoke, no major oil leaks, and it passes emissions. I recently changed the exhaust manifold, so all the exhaust studs will be intact. This is a great upgrade for anyone with a 1.5/1.6/1.7L engine, and all your accessories will bolt right up.

I might even install a 2L16V using the 8V CIS.
