    It is not a commercially available sway bar.

    All of this was custom done - all the fittings were purchased (rose joints, tubes etc) but the rear sway bar was bent/welded in house and so was all of the welding for the toe bar.

    Sweet Congrats!

    Check out type3 selecta to choose your mods

    Cheap mod would be to paint the inner wheels black or red with cap on or off and white walls

    So the last thing you need is another Mk1 in your care.

    It has it's own car cover so is always welcome.

    We need to get that sorted out. I'll be down next weekend by the look of things.

    But back to MK1 land, and these direct from The Fatherland;

    So I have researched the car a bit more and find the following;

    Orginial owner Mrs Cramp lived in Hackett, Canberra and owned the car for 28 years. It was then sold to a bloke 4 doors down in her street who had it for another 10 years. Pretty cool it spent nearly 40 years of it's life in the same suburb. We are the 4th owner. We have the original books.

    In terms of the cars you boys have here, it is a modest big brake kit.

    285mm upgrade with Green Stuff pads and braided lines went in today.

    Phase one complete.

    Wound the back down 2" but need to raise it up again another 1/2" to level it out. Loving this car. The simplicity is just so rewarding.

    Venetian and visor next, followed by red/clear tail lights. Wheels I'm not sure. Never seen one on BBS RS.

    For his sake I hope he never sells it. But I'll ask now and then just to be sure

    I'd love to see how it looks today. I think it was about five years ago when I last rode in it and it was mental then!
