Thread: freshly washed and rims touched up..

    1. 10-05-2009 08:29 PM #1
So today i decided to spend the day washing the b*tch.. After i saw the car clean i wanted to give it a different look..So i went off to the autopart and bought gunmetal spray paint and heat resistant paint for the calipers..I didnt want to be like everyone else and paint the calipers red or some other color so i just decided to paint them black so at least they didnt look all rusted..AS YOU MAY NOTICE I SPRAY PAINTED THE TIRES ALSO BUT THATS ONLY BECAUSE TOMMORROW I WILL BE GETTING FRESH TIRES FOR THE WINTER SEASON...Take a look a give opinions and what not just no negative feedback..Keep stupid comments to yourself

      Just Washed:

And of course when i began to paint the rims and calipers:

Did you paint the rotors black too?

You're supposed to take that ish off and media blast it before painting any of it...

Sorry, no props for half-assing anything.

hahah this is good. put down the spray can and get yourslef one of the brush on type caliper paints. looked great before hand, hopefully it turns out nice. Calipers get hot so hopfully it will burn all of that off so you can do it the right way.

the paint will come off, ive actually seen it done like that before a few times, this way all surfaces that dont get touched by the pads will be painted. no harm, the paint will burn right off. jus like suface rust when wet. it comes right off after a few panic stops. as long as theres not a while lot on the rotor

This is happening because you are a retard. It is no small feat that you were not killed from your car falling on you with that jack setup. Not to mention that you painted the only surfaces on your car designed to keep you from sailing into an intersection or the rear end of the car in front of you as you try to brake for a stoplight.
