This is the kind of thing that makes me never trust anyone. And you had no other choice. Sorry man, that sucks. The shipping company must pay!

damn that sucks about the shipping company. When i bought the passat i had it shipped from another state and the shipping company managed to scratch the roof and then denied it of course. I still got them to pay but it was a PITA back n forth for months. Put your foot up their ass.

Just bought some OEM Roof bars (used). Loving them but not the loud howling noise above 40 mph.

Still waiting on the shipping company to fix my bumper
He didnt have a euro bumper with headlight squirters and he had some crappy tawainese seats with cheap fake suede everywhere in the interior

Shipping company denies that they did any damage but offered me $500........ They said previous scratches on the bottom weakened the bumper...

USAA has jumped in and will take action against them. I have to fork out the deductible for now. Hopefully have the Passat in the shop next week. Front end will be painted differently.

Well the wife shut down my plans, probably a good thing? But I did color match my inner sensor's and remounted the license plate.

Look for some V710 this Spring.

    AWESOME Passat!

    You asked for a Photoshop:

Also, have you considered painting the rear a bit?

Man your B6 is my favorite. I wish it was mine. Can't you get a smaller front numberplat or move it or something, cause it just spoils the looks of the front, but thats just me.

I wish, but the front small plate is like double the height.

Here is a quick shot of a freshly wash car. Can't see it in the pic but the paint is filthy. Winter is almost over and in dire need of full detail. So far VMR V710 in gunmetal seem to be the right fit. Still looking for some Sport seats with integrated rear child booster seat.

Dude when I was in Germany I saw some really small numberplates and they weren't double the height, but they were all in the back. I remember the smallest being someting like KS R36 or something that was the same length as a US plate but 2/3 of the width, but I can't find a pic right now.

I wouldn't if I were you. I'm from a small Balkan country called Bulgaria and my dream is to move to Florida or California. I have been in Germany a couple of times and I can tell you that the only thing that Germany has and is better than the USA is the highway network and the lack of speed limits on most of it.

I grew up in both San Diego and fort Lauderdale. CA and FL are great choices!

I prefer fort Lauderdale. 93 octane fuel & skimpy clothes for the women haha. Just be careful running a Fmic in FL with the puddles and all. And with that heat ur gonna need the cooling...

Well actually my plan is that I go to University in Wolfsburg or Ingolstadt and if I find a job with VW or Audi I stay there if I don't I'd work there for a year or two and then move to the USA.

Yeah Germany is definitely a good place to live, but the only things that bother me are the language and the weather. I can learn the language but I can't take a whole summer of cold in the morning sun at about noon and then in the afternoon a downpour of rain.

The UK and Ireland are the only places in Europe that drives on the left side and has the steering wheel on the right. For the record...

So I'm not going to ship my GTI over to Germany any more. Now allowing me to start building the Passat back up.

First investment is looking like VMR 705 in GM. Hopefully be on order by Monday.
