This thread is a little outdated - can you tell me the current price, with the necessary adapters, shipped to 80503? Thanks

Yes it would still be $380.08 + tax. Just make sure you ask for JC when you come in the parts department.

Wow! That's a fantastic price! For convenience, I tried one of the local dealers and let's just say their out the door price was laughable at best!

Based on the initial post I'm going to guess that the answer is "no," but I figure it's worth asking. I bought a DICE iPod cable that plugs into the CD Changer cable in the hatch. Any chance this headunit would be compatible with that setup? TIA.

I've provided lots of feedback in this thread. Other than that, what else do you want to know?

Sound quality has diminished pretty noticeably, but also noticed my speedo stopped working...sooo probably something wrong with the install :-/. I'll withhold judgement otherwise because you're right, there are a lot of positive reviews on this thread.

not really much can go wrong on the install. It is pretty much plug n play except for the 2 tires you tap at the headlight switch like shown on page 1.

Yea, figured as much. I'm in manhattan and while I was getting the car serviced last week asked I'd they could throw the head unit in at the same time. Think they might have overthought it? Not sure.

I know VW doesn't really offer an install guide they might have botched something. VW asked us to use some of our write up on the first page, you should ask your dealer if they followed our write up.

Yea, apparently the tech thought there was a "more permanent"(?) place to tap the two wires which shorted out my cluster. Serves me right for not doing it myself.
