I am here untill wed then i have to go finish outprocessing the wife is here for good she starts work monday. I will be here perminatly after the 5th of jan. We will be working on the house all weekend so feel free to call if you want to comeover.

threaded them 1/4 of the way, mounted them and theaded them all the way in... the threading that was left on the wheels basically reamed itself out, so it worked out, but it took way too long to put on those two wheels!

Drove the Scirocco to work Friday. Amazing how far climate controls have come in the last 25 years. I was either freezing my ass off or burning up. I still love driving it, even if it is miserable in the cold. I'm seriously considering a VR swap in it just to give it the power that it LOOKS like it should have.

there's a shop on rosewood that specializes in old mercedes diesels... they come highly recommended from my professors in the autotech dept for ANYTHING diesel. They're on the left if your coming from the stadium.

So I needed to replace my front tires yesterday and in my searches, all the tire places are mom and pop or big corporate places that won't stretch the tires on for me. Where should I go?

That's a pretty serious stretch. Most shops here aren't going to touch it. You can try Nuttall Tire downtown. The owner is a friend of my wife's. Good folks, but not cheap. The number is on the website.
