i played 3 rounds last night - this and cod4 are the best in the franchise.

i might be on tonight. i have a few things to sort out this afternoon, but if they end soon enough...i'll be on (8ish CST)!!

yup i was going to leave before my last game because it started lagging and guys were jumping around my screen but i stayed

then just quit mid round. shooting guys and hits not registering


still better than black ops/mw3

I put MW2 in tonight and played for about an hour. Still a great game. However, there were two dudes running around with LMGs that would literally land every round they fired. One hit kills. They moved and ADS so fast that there was no chance to do anything. Is it safe to assume that this is some kind of hack?

lol! MW2 and COD 4 will never be fixed again. Back before Robert Bowling left Infinity Ward someone told him "fix COD4" His response was that they'd have to rebuild the two games from scratch to get rid of all the hackers cause after MW2 when Black Ops was being made they had the technology needed to build security into the game that would recognize hackers and ban them. That's why back in the day the game was getting so many patches to kill hacking but then it just came back. Now I never see hacks unless it's private matches. Faceoff in MW3 is a good example of how the game works to catch hackers/boosters. A LOT of people have been suspended and reset for thinking they could boost in safety since it was just them and a friend. The system recognizes the boosting and first you get deranked a few levels like from 50 down to 42 but after awhile if you don't stop it kicks you then you get the message telling you you've been banned. I remember hearing that in Black Ops when people would try to take the hacks into public matches the games security features would detect it and lock people out banning their consoles. That's probably why I never seen even 1 hacker on that game.

I have no love for this hot mess of hackers and unbalanced game play. It was fun playing with you guys but the game itself was usually terrible. Disappointed you guys all bailed on mw3 so quickly, it really wasn't that bad.

I hated mw3. I went back to black ops after about 1 week. I still plays black ops barebones pure team death match with the same group of guys all the time.

i've been playing mw2 for about a week now. i gotta say, although i get a few hackers here and there...they aren't in EVERY match. i come across 2-3 people every night in about 10 matches. i still have fun playing alone.
