Nice read, but do you also have the article on that gold colored Punto with the Integrale drivetrain?

215bhp and it's no faster than the stock Corrado VR6 that Car and Driver tested.

ALL of the british tests i have in my collection have 0-60 times recorded higher than the american tests. iirc, one has a 0-60 recorded @ 7.8 seconds and it is a 2.9 vr6 with 190bhp.

      edit:
      exhibit A:

exhibit B: not 7.8, but high for 12bhp more than what the US got...notice they labeled it an 8-valve.

I think the Euro Corrado had a different final drive, but yeah I love the Oettinger Corrado. Also love the Abt Corrado. It's a throwback to the days when Abt made desirable products.

That's not the case all corrados vr6's have the 3.64 final drive. What may cause this difference might be that the americans use a 1-2 foot roll out when recording the 0-60 times versus the british who probably use a standing start to record theirs.

It's very upsetting to find sketchy numbers for the Corrado. Everywhere , even in our Bentley manuals....lol

Such a ridiculous car. I want to love the Corrado (like a love song), but it ends up being the clumsy, dumb-luck girl in the bar that performs like a dead fish.

Thanks for the upload. What wheels are those on the Corrado?
