Sorry, missed your post earlier...

Fog light kit for Jetta Sedan comes with everythign you need except the Headlamp switch. (Is your current switch all black, or black and chrome?). However, it will also come with the lower grilles that you do not need.
The fog kit retails for $377.86 and I can sell it for $319.99. The switch will vary in price based on which finish you have.

It's black plastic (ABS, perhaps) just like the GTI and GLI grille... as far as I know.

I pulled that stripe off this evening. I knew it wasn't the right color but wanted to get something on there to see how I like the look. I have some 3M #70366 on order as I think that's probably a closer match to the original stripe. I should have it in tomorrow.

Sure it will. It'll fit anything but the .:R, Rabbit, and Thunderbunny fronts. If a GTI/GLI grille or a Jetta grille fits, this fits.

Are all parts Gloss black? Or just he middle portion? I am especially curious about the side parts, if they are the same flat black then I guess I wouldn't need to swap those.

what's the difference between the lower black grille on the wolfsburg and the one on the other Jettas/earlier wolfie?

Also, can the main grille come pre-drilled for a plate holder?

I was going to look into that but did some test-fitting before bothering. Turns out, the profile is just right to allow mounting with double-stick tape. I went ahead and used my Dremel to knock all the tabs off the rear as well. To ensure you couldn't see any tape when looking directly down on it, I got the lowest profile 3M tape I could find.

This one has a built-in gloss black trim stripe on the perimeter. You could use the stock Jetta grille and wrap the chrome with matte or gloss black vinyl if you're looking to save some money.

I used black door edge trim. I got my lower grille without the chrome trim - pull the chrome trim off and it clips right over the tabs.

Here's a poor close up. Now I just need the black Jetta grille.
