LOL this project... a guy tried to screw me out of wheels.... got all but $100 back on that.

The guys I got the BBSs from tried to screw me on shipping... I had to pay $50 out of pocket

One guy sold be a bad deck.. not knowing I would know where to find him. Tried to not answer his phone..I found out where he lived. I did get my all my money back on that one

During that time.. without going into detail.. parts showed up late... or missing things. And then the domino affect was created that over followed into other problems. But when things get like that... all you can do is sit and smoke a bowl.. and remind yourself.. some things are just out of your hands and you just need to wait it out.

FFS, we get it. You smoke weed. That's cool that you know someone that sells it and that you are capable of both buying it and smoking it.

You don't need to impress us big guy. This is the internet. The bar is pretty low already.

Go kick rocks....I could give a **** about impressing anyone on this site. All I am doing is sharing what I am doing... I do not care what you think. I am legal puffer.. it is apart of my life as much as my car. People will make their own choices...I am sure my puffing is not causing you or anyone you know any harm. And yeah.. it is the internet... do not take it too seriously man lol. But if it really that big of a problem for you... just stay out the thread.

    Back to the car...

More boxes cam.. Mark came and did the fuel pump wiring since is such a damn pro. Thank you Mark! The intercooler was painted black... I stripped t back down and made it pretty. If I decide to go black I will have it anodized instead of painting it. I have to say, installing the turbo mani really took some time... those rear lower bolts are super tight small space. Again I will stress I really took my time with his. When the other motor goes in... I will put the mani on BEFORE It goes into the car.

....was some work...but I am getting to see the light

Al I can say is I am sure glad I got this kit off of a running car. It seems to be in damn good shape and the turbo does not show any signs of major wear. Came with everything I needed and also had a Forge DV.. and AEM true boost to boot. The springs appears to have me limited to right under 9 lbs. But seen there is NO head spacer in this particular engine..I m no hurry to crank the boost up. Would not want my intentions to get mixed with the engine capabilities.

    Hah, saw that too.

Car looks sick man, it reminds me so much of my own car. I wish I was in the process of turboing mine though.

Was super tight up against the AC hi/lo ports... Some needing and prying them where I needed them seemed to work. I trimmed up the bumper foam and decided it was better on the car.

You can take your weed politics and suck a ****ing dick. Plenty of people here smoke weed, but they don't mention it every 3 goddamn sentences because they have enough sense to know that nobody else cares. You're making yourself sound like an overexcited 17 year old.

And who keeps talking about it? You are just a hater dude.. it is ok. Again.. no one is making you be here on this thread... You want a hug?.. everything is gonna be ok man... I promise

Me and Ryan trimming... I wanted SOOOO bad to get the intercooler behind the bumper cover. We tried for 2 hours... was just not gonna happen unless I lived back the radiator... I decided screw it and cut it up.
I did see another guys Jetta where his bumper was fully in tact... same intercooler too

Here is what I did for the EVAP.. I put a check valve in it... I noticed the valve started making noise... so I later unplugged it with no ill affects so far. From what I understand that valve closes when the system wants to checks for leaks

    DONE... ferr now hee hee

Is this one of the kinetics kits that route the intercooler piping under the oil pan?

After the install.. I was missing a piece of exhaust from the cat delete to the Jetex cat back. Even when I fired it it up....it sounded meaaan open down pipe. Was loud too... even the V8 guys in the neighborhood wondered over...was cool. The car started and idled great. After 10 the car warmed up and the cooling system pressurized. No leaks...hooray.

I drove it down the street and when I got where I could be noisy I rolled on and it pulled great. No hickups..farts..noises ect. After i was sure it was building boost, and all was well... I really cracked it loose. Did just fine... cannot wait to see at with the new motor in it. Next mornin the car went to Mach1 Muffler and had the exhaust bits fitted. On the way home..I got down on it with a M3 and met a guy named Dar...cool M3 owner for sure.

After I got the car home I put the front end all on and got the grill painted and headlights on. Took some work to make them fit and aim them right.... but they sure beat the hell out of what was on there... old one had a cracked lens.

After I got it together I got out... while I still can....and snapped pics the other day.

And a big think you to Jess... aka The 6 Footer

It was as easy as it looks imo. Any real frustration was due to lack of being able to locate certain things... or waiting on someone to come help me. Obviously I had some help... and that made a world of difference. Also planning ahead...look over everything and get all your ducks in a row before you start. Little things like fasteners and gaskets can really be a pain. Planning ahead is what made this go so smooth

Well.. I pulled the car out of storage the other day and decided it was time to button it up. I was kinda hoping to get the car dynoed in it's current state but said to hell with it. I ditched the 16s, just cause it rids better on 15s and got some Speedlines... not sure what I am going do with this yet.

But I went ahead and pulled the head off and inspected everything... looked like it was starting to get some head lift. Other than that everything in there looked fine and the compression and leakdown checked out ok.... I am pretty damn satisfied to see it has held up so well since the turbo was put in.

I will put installing the head spacer and other little bits as well as installing the fuel pump ect

    Guides looking great

Few areas of seepage to deal with

Another thing is I am kinda bummed I think I am nearing the end of my relationship with my Jetex as I am sure I will really be out flowing it with more boost I kinda am not looking forward to finding something kinda quiet.
