Sorry if this was covered, but what type of texture spray and trim paint did you use? Those flares look fantastic! Where can I buy the paint and how much?

OMG guys it hurt... it hurt soo bad...

      JK

anyways there was no jail or no civics, just been a crazy couple weeks
been to orlando for a few days, to maryland for a few days, leavin for Vegas today til weds.. so i havent had an awful lot f time to mess with the car at all..

hopin after this week to get back "in gear" and get things wrapped up

due to time constraints i have dropped off the hood and a couple random last parts to a buddy to have them sprayed for me so hopefully by next weekend they will be done!

hope to have some good updates next weekend!

      I seent it!

Doesn't it feel so much more homely inside with a carpet? makes it so much more comfortable to work inside.

unfortunately you're gonna have to solder a wire to the 1 pin under that cover :9 but like i aid if you go VR6 coil there is an actual bolt under there for a loop connector which can come off a Mk2 16v for that factory wire and connector look.

you can pull tach signal off of the ECU, I did that with the Digifiz, and it worked perfect.

I just for get what wire.

dunno about this one (it's an extra one) but I do have an autozone coil in the car (well over 1000 miles on it) and its lifetime warrantied to boot
will carry an extra in the car on trips anyways

i did get new lines but when i went to do em the ones in the car were good!
i did however clamp them onto the sunroof belly

and i extended the rears a teeny bit with 5/16 copper/ nickel line as it seems the shrunk a lil bit

THe stock 91+ VWs have it wired like this... but i don't think the signal they output is what the Mk2 cluster accepts (the mk2 cluster looks for a voltage spike in the several hundred volt range from the magnetic field's collapse in the coil).

a digifiz is a MK2 cluster, and it worked flawlessly.
