Are there any Corrados left that haven't been beaten like a rented mule?

Well then, that makes two. My best friend still has the silver '94 he bought new, and he pampers it to the hilt. It's still practically showroom-new.

I didn't know they put EDL on a MK2. I thought that was new technology on my MKV!

My '94 is in great shape. Only 62k miles and the interior and exterior looks brand new. And believe it or not, it runs great!

All VR6 models had EDL from day one. My 92 Passat G60 syncro also had it.

      I want one.

Are Corrados really THAT unreliable? I mean, everyone acts like its a deathwish if you buy one.

With a minimum torque of 240 N-m (177ft/lbs) at 4200 rpm, the VR6 has been designed to provide both excellent traction characteristics - at least 200 N-m (147 ft/lbs) is available over a wide range between 2000 and 6000 rpm - as well as consummate power expected from a car such as the Corrado.

      That's why 12v VR6 is so legendary!

Thanks for posting, a fun read for sure

They also call the engine management Motronic only to list it as Digifant on the spec sheet.
