You may want to contact one of our dealers in Canada such as http://www.ctsturbo.com/. They stock a variety of our parts and shipping should be a bit more affordable.

Under hard acceleration, the pendulum mount (commonly referred to as the "dogbone" or by VW as the "torque arm") acts to limit rotational movement of the engine - The factory bushings do a satisfactory job, while limiting vibrations, but only during sedate driving conditions. When pushed hard those bushings flex creating a vague feeling in the engine and gearbox, and adding to the dreaded "wheel hop" phenomenon.

Our pendulum mount torque arm insert fills the voids in the stock rubber bushing, making what was a soft rubber bushing with voids into what behaves like a solid mount. With the insert installed, you will notice that throttle response will feel better and your shifts will feel more crisp and defined, especially on manual transmission cars.

What's the difference on the website? Is there one? I went to order the insert today, and found:
2 Green ones: One says stg 2, for 39.99, the other is also green but doesn't say which stage, for 34.99, and a yellow one that is stg 1 for 34.99.
      Wat.

Has anyone had any issues removing the 19mm bolt on the subframe?

I tried to install my insert this weekend, but for the life of me, could not remove the bolt. I had an 18 inch breaker bar on the sucker, and loosened it up partially. I was waiting for it to get easier to loosen, but it never did. I probably unscrewed it about halfway. I tightened back up in fear that it was stripped or something.

I was going to go to my buddy's house and do it as he has airtools, but maybe that's a bad idea?

Its hard to strip something by backing a bolt put. Maybe you were spinning the upper mount. Remember the mount consist of two seperate pieces

Ended up using my buddy's impact to get it loose. Turns out the stock bolt had a good amount of corrosion on it, keeping it in there.

Getting the insert in was a right b****, but it's done now!

Shifts and launches are much much smoother. Great product for the price!

Yeah, sometime getting the insert in there is a pita.
Once the task is done though, it's so worth it.
      Thanks for the feedback!
