      Since there are a lot of new 16v turbo projects being built/rebuilt and some new parts coming out it's time for another ultimate 16vt info thread (archived?). The point of this thread is to compare setups and offer advice / information.<p>Chassis: mk2 gti<br>Block: stock 9A<br>Pistons: J&E 8.5:1<br>Rods: integrated engineering 16v<br>Head: 9A (mild port + polish)<br>Head gasket: steel ABA w/ arp headstuds<br>Cams: autotech euro intake<br>Valves: stock w/ supertech springs, Ti retainers<br>Intake manifold: eurospeed? (square box <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://www.vortexmediagroup.com/images/banghead.gif" BORDER="0"> with nice stacks inside)<br>Throttle body: obd1 vr<br>Intercooler: 2.5" in/out REAL thick<br>Plumbing: 2.5"<br>Bov / dv: synapse<br>Exhaust manifold: racecraft log<br>Turbocharger: garrett t3/t4 50trim 0.48 ex. (looking for 0.63)<br>Wastegate: Tial 38mm<br>Downpipe: 3"<br>Exhaust: 3" straight<br>Management: digi 1 w/ SNS chip<br>Injectors: 630cc siemens<br>Spark plugs: NGK BKR7E .025" gap<br>Flywheel: autotech steel 10lb.<br>Clutch: Spec stg.3<br>Transmission: ATA 02A (stripped 3rd, going with mk4 vr gears)<br>Differential: Peloquin lsd<br>Shifter: stock g60 corrado<p>Everything else assumed stock.<p>No dyno before trans broke (3rd gear), went 12.9@115 on 17psi couldn't boost until 3rd gear without spinning and going nowhere (195 tires and .48 hotside). <p>Idles sometimes, currently has no o2 sensor.       Those are good numbers, a car that me and my bud put together ran 12.7@115 or 117 on street tires back in 2004 with digi1 and 52lb injectors.

      Your oil cooler is mounted incorrectly. Just an FYI. Fittings should come out the top, or side, with the feed being on top (in stand up configuration).<p>great numbers. <IMG NAME="icon" SRC="http://**********************/smile/emthup.gif" BORDER="0">

How many miles on this setup thus far?<p></TD></TR></TABLE><br>Thanks, It's seen about 5000 miles in total, started off @ around 12psi, it's seen 4000+ miles of 18+psi(310+whp), Lot's of hard driving and 200+km/h pulls, about 20 passes @ the track, etc. It's all in the tune, but I'm not expecting it to last forever. It's getting bigger injectors and more boost soon and probably some water/meth injection.<br>400whp was @ 23psi<BR><BR>
