Quote, originally posted by IML337 » yep. But maybe the sales lady was hot? I bet it's not the one that has WLAN in it either.
I never understood why more people don't think that WLAN in a frame is a good idea. I got my folks one (in 2008, of course) and my dad just puts different pics in the folder on his PC and it changes what the frame displays. Brilliant!
WLAN is useless because it means you have to have your computer on all the time. Of course that is ok if you do that anyway but I don't. Funnily enough, the reason I bought this Sony one is because I accidentally dropped an old Kodak one that I bought in 2008 (of course lol) and killed it. The Kodak has WLAN but I didn't use it. The Sony frame is the most beautiful frame out there IMO.

I've got no problems buying a $400 fan, my Vornado cost just over $300, but it doesn't sound like a hair dryer.Yeah it's not the quietest unit around, but given it's going to be for OlieWAY's bedroom, I don't think he cares too much. Any pic of your Vornado one?

Are those fans expensive? Why is there a tin of Baked Beans on your desk?

Not today, but a few weeks back, I bought a set of Usher Be-20 speakers. I thought they were 78kg a pair. Turns out I read the wrong spec sheet wrt weight and they are 123kg each. Needless to say, it nearly killed me getting them up 3 flights of stairs. Very worth it though!!

Formidable upgrade from the Electras, lol.
If you're looking to sell the Mira amp, my mate will buy it off ya.

I've been wandering aimlessly around Adelphi a few times now but I don't wanna go into the stores because I'm a clueless ******* when it comes to this stuff haha

I'd used it to juice up a Cyrus 8 vs2 int amp, running through Tannoy Autograph Mini bookshelfs. I've pretty much switched over to a desktop/headphone computer system with Headamp's Pico USB DAC doing the crunching, but looking to get a Grace M902 DAC for Xmas. Or the new Sennheiser HD800.

Look for a DAB radio component or new integrated amp with DAB. Any ideas?

That does look very cool (pardon the pun) but ultimately dangerous for near a 1.75 year old boy...

When I et home, I am going to try a few SACD's. Atm, it is a looking like either Esotteric X-03SE or the Playback Designs MPS-5.
