That thing is nuts!! ... I bought the same set a year ago.
GF and I took 2 days to put that thing together and now I don't have anywhere to put it.
Its pretty big so it sits on top of the filing cabinet.
Any ideas on where to get a display cabinet?

I bought one of those for a good friend's recent b'day. They're awesome!

I was able to snap mine up from ebay, $750 delivered.
The seller bought it at the Kmart toy sale a while back, I'm surprised they had those in stock.

toy shop. Botany Road, Alexandria, sydney. $350. you got ripped.

I bought some very manly Biotherm face products today.

Anyway, I need advice on Xmas pressie for the missus and OlieWAY. What is the best home use ice cream maker out there? Myer only have these pissy plastic ones that cost $50. I want something that looks more like a high end coffee machine! As for OlieWAY, thinking about a little RC boat to play in our pool or a small push bike that has no pedals or training wheels. Apparently these things will help kids to learn balancing without ever using training wheels. Question is, where can I get a nice one?

Just buy a normal bike and take the cranks out. Or just take the training wheels off and help him learn to stabilise. Only takes a day.

Avoid making a schoolboy error that will ensure the only sex you have for the 12 days of Xmas is with Mrs Palmer and her five daughters...kitchen appliances never rate, no matter what high end look they have!

Haha thanks for the advice. My missus is a very pratical person, and she has been wanting an ice cream maker for a long time. Also unlike other relationship, I buy her LV, Gucci etc all the time for no particular reason, but she never really appreciate them. Nor does she appreciate a X5M. Ice cream maker is the only thing that will make her happy this xmas.

I thought we'd be sensible and look at a 325i for the next car rather than the 335i.

The 325 is not a cheap car once on the road

confused now. Over the idea of spending more than $100k on a car or something that is already 5 years old for that much (or even more) Rather dump it on the mortgage. Shame I like bmw cars so much.

might be worth checking out the 123d convertible or hatch, twin turbo 4cyl, supposed to be good.

    12. 11-19-2009 06:38 PM #152
yes it's good and I think they give you the bmw efficent eco credit or some siht too, but I think the car is just a bit too small for us. It's for my wife to drive daily, but she will have to pick up the kids etc.

We are all pretty tall hey, we had a 130i with all the options for a week, it got smashed parked outside work and somehow she gave it back without having put down a deposit etc. When I drove it I had the setback 100% and felt very cramped, no one was able to sit behind me, not even a little kid.

I told her to get a 135i convertible, she liked it but thinks it's too small and girly for her. Likes the 3 series better.

Apparently I bought this a few weeks ago - having looked at the emails I've concluded that it was a drunken eBay purchase at about 4am after a night on the turps.... but yet another golf club I neither need nor particularly want just showed up in the post

lol. Not as bad as receiving meditation tapes at work, bought by the girlfriend who's somehow gotten hold of my ebay account.

Looking forward to my latest, intentional ebay purchase..

Ohh, nice Mike. I had a purple set that craked as soon as they got used and then I stuck them on my GF (at the time) bike.

Must have been mid 90's and I belive she still has that bike.

because I'm bored, here is a photo of her and a car. I pinched it from her facebook.

Ah crap, I was wondering about the durability of these. They're going on my commuter Xizang, so I'll only use single ring up front. Did they take some beating before they cracked?

yeah spot on, I wouldn't sit in the back if you paid me, but then, I wouldn't do it in the 3 series either (convertible that is)

    20. 11-19-2009 09:43 PM #160
Mike they should be ok for that. I don't think I used them for long at all, it was ages ago and they could have cracked first go or after a while and I only noticed when trying to clean the bike?

they are still in service and look great anyway

fark it's hot and I'm over it and going home.

Thanks dude! It's exactly what I am looking for. But I have ordered him a Kyosho Mini-Z Lamborghini C-1 catamaran as well from the US last night. Oh well, a boy can have more than one xmas pressie from his daddy.

As for the icecream maker, I found the perfect thing. All the reviews are great too (can't believe there is a forum for EVERYTHING!). And apparently that is what Poh and Julie used in the Masterchef finals to make the gelato. Xmas shopping done. The missus will be responsible for all the other relos.

Bought my son 2 more Ralph Lauren polos this morning. I wanted salmon, but they didn't have it.

Also bought a flat bed scanner + software that scans and stores negatives. The missus want to preserve some old photos. I couldn't care less as the only pictures that matters are all on digital (OlieWAY's pics!).

Ice Cream maker?! I could eat Ben and Jerry's regularly and still not have spent $500 by the time you've made 3 litres of ice cream with that thing, eaten only half of it, and retired the ice cream maker to the back of the kitchen cupboard where it will gather dust until you move to a new house.
