The super tall geared auto can suck the life out of any of Mini's cars. My mother in law just bought an auto Countryman All4 S and it feels like a dog compared to my 6 speed S hardtop.

Sport mode makes the difference.

In a regular MINI, none. There is not much leg room to begin with so once the seat goes back, it's all but gone.

Wow, that blue Clubman with the silver top looks awesome. I can't warm up to MINI's interiors and their high price seems out of wack, but I do like the looks of them.
Mised a chance to drive one recently, local dealer had a chairity drive were you can drive cars so many miles and money is donated to a cause. I shoulda went, it may have changed my perspective of them.
A Blue JCW with silver stripes would be awesome, but it wouls also be about forty grand.
