That was insane. I was cringing just sitting here in my chair. I wonder if there's a pile of cars behind him!

I simply would not be able to handle traffic like that.
Guess I'm not a born racer...

That actually kinda reminds me of a criterium (bike race) a bit, the main two differences are that I'm only going 25-30mph in a crit, and I'm not afraid to use a bit of shoulder to get through traffic. here...I'd be ****ting my pants at the thought of contact with other racers.

That decent at the end was pretty awesome BTW.

That's exactly what I was thinking. Employing that mindest, I was pretty tense through some of the squeezes that driver made earlier on. Super cool

Great repost. I didn't catch this the first time. Elises are a little dicey at 10/10ths, so having driven quite a few in anger, this is all the more impressive to me.

damn, i new bathhurst was a fast track but ****, theres not a real corner on the thing. and that descent at about 3/4 looks terrifying

That decent is a lot steeper and scarier in real life.

They created a bit of a run-off area this year around first corner on top of the mountain. Before then, there was just a wall.

Since the origional has been taken down, I believe it is this one showing the insane traffic at the start of the race. But I am remembering it from the repost

That course seems just wide enough for an Elise to race. He had so much momentum that he just went from 5th to 1st in seconds. Really cool clip!
