As soon as I get the wife's approval I'm getting the Super Sport springs. I went with the sports on my MKV GTI back in '06 and wished I went with the Race's.

it doesnt i wanna see what the mkvi looks like. i know what they look like on a mkv gti.
however SS on mkv say 1.9 where as the mkvi they say 1.5 so i dont know if its because the mkvi comes already a little lower from the factory.

Yea, i agree with you. I rather to see it on MKVI not the MKV.

      get supersports.
Have them on my MkV. perfect stance.
      1 finger all around.
Unless you want to be slightly lower than stock and want to not worry at all about driving daily, then Sports are for you.
However, supersports are perfect. They will look good. Why would it look bad anyway?

Get coils. I think whatever spring you get will most likely have too high of a rate for the stock shocks. Plus, it's not like it's any more trouble to install them. It's just a bit more $$$, but you know you're going to want it, especially since you don't know yet which springs will rake forward or backwards on the MKVIs.

Pics of a B&G 1.5" drop from here:

Assuming that "inch" if defined the same at both companies, this should be a pretty accurate representation of what you're looking for.

guess you missed the part where he asks for H&R not b&g? and b&g wont sit identical to H&R some have more or less rake then others

      I think Super Sport.
I am still waiting to see the picture of GTI with Sport or Super Sport Springs on it.

The Touring kit does use the sport springs, or at least they're both advertised at the same drop.

But from reading about the racing ones it says 2.0 inch drop all around vs super sport 1.7 or so

Maybe for the MKV, but for the MKVI there is only the Sport Springs with a 1.2" drop and the Super Sport Spring with a 1.5"/1.4" drop thus far, no Race Spring.
