Rear Differential Swap

Hello,

I did search and didn't really find what I was looking for.

I want to know what other VW and Audi rear differentials are interchangeable with my Quantum Syncro Wagons. I would imagine the turbo Audi 5000 would have a larger/stronger rear diff than my QSW and be relatively interchangeable but that is just a guess and I was hoping someone could confirm this. Even better would be if I could swap in a rear diff from any modern Audi or 4motion.

The gear ratio does not have to match the transaxle in my QSW.

I'm bringing this back from the dead... any one have any input? essentially i would like to know what kind of power these diffs can handle in a rwd application, or if there is something stronger that can be swapped in. thanks
