i was hoping your thread had info on 5th or info on who has tried it for fueling
i was wondering how evenly it fuels
super ghetto lack luster question i know
maybe it would help balance a TB injector

so a solenoid controlled atomizer(s) may come in real handy, if the flow rates are close to usable, anyone measure it before?

I would be curious as to how even say 10 cold start injectors would be flow wise if compared and measured under the same conditions. as I don't think they would be very consistent

IIRC, they were about 18 lbs/hr. I will try to confirm, but this is what I remember reading back in the day. Though they operate off the thermoswitch so the actual flow into the engine varies...I'm not sure if it ever actually reaches that rate. I just remember reading that's it's capacity, wide open w/ 12V applied.

I know witchhunter.com cleans and bench flows them. I'd contact him and ask, he seems pretty knowledgable. when I was looking at these the main points were the coil valve design in not capable of pwm control or consistant open/close times, or compatable with water/meth.
most apps would be better served buying a single known flowrate injector. if you don't want to fast switch it and just run constant open, get a high impedance injector and back calc the pressure and listed flow rate from the desired flow rate. may be alot easier than trying to make a fixed flow rate produce your deired flow rate. especially if the pressure gets away from the 3-4.5 bar pressure or less if your not running a cis fuel pump.
as for mounting an extra injector. a bung can be made out of a 1/4"npt fitting bored out

19# is what i thought i read somewhere too
so i went out & put an oe 5th injector in the oe TB where the idle screw used to be
i have a maxed out cis-e system @ ~9psi
i had 12.9 AF @ 6700 rpm b4, after i had 12.1 @ 6700
i started to wonder if the 4cyl needs 30HP worth of fuel @ cold cranking rpm when the other injectors are putting some out ??......no
i think it's more like 5#/hr
i'm putting a vr6 19# inj in the TB next

sure, but it's not variable, it's 100% until the switch shuts off from cranking too long/much, since it's driven by the starter wire, then it's one step off, until the thermoswitch cools down
anyway, put the vr 19# inj in the TB & af down to 11.5
the disappointment came when i topped the tank off & got 20%e85 blend with 80% 91 gas
& the car got slower than 50%e & 87 gas
it pulled harder @ 12.9 with 50%e than 10.5 with 80% gas, oh well where can i drive it off
EDIT: the 5th inj moved my af down .9 & the 19# moved it down 1.4 so i'd guess MY fifth injector was putting out 12#/hr
