Integrated is proud to release these 1.8T 20V Cam Degree Blocks. They allow any end user, with the addition of a few simple tools, and a little patience, to degree in their camshafts. This totally eliminates all of the guesswork from the 1.8T Cam installation procedure. It also ensures that the cams are set properly to the intended centerline angles, regardless of angular position errors caused by mis-cut keyways, decked heads or blocks, different thickness headgaskets, etc. Due to all of those factors, there is no substitute for degreeing in your camshafts on YOUR block and head, during the assembly procedure. These tools allow the serious enthusiast the opportunity to do just that.
Each set comes with two billet cam blocks which will use two of your OEM cam followers and allow a dial indicator to measure valve lift. You do need a dial indicator and stand, a degree wheel, and a piston stop. Part numbers for those parts which are tested to fit directly to the 1.8t without any modification are listed in the instructions included. Comes with detailed instructions.
These are in stock and shipping now!

There are a handful of people on this forum keeping it real and are intelligent enough to build proper cars. Everyone else, keep wasting your money and time running around in circles following the herd.

ooooh!! a toy!!Any link to the pdf instructions? Am interested in the rest of the parts.

The piston stop is a summit # SUM-900189, the degree wheel is a SUM-G1057. Both are cheap. Then you'll need a dial indicator and such. The price for a dial indicator varies a lot depending on quality.Pete

why not just offer it as a whole kit???![]()

Mostly because some people will have some, or all of those parts already, forcing everybody to buy them just drives up the cost for everyone. I was actually trying to be nice, just giving out the summit PN for the stuff, rather then being all secretive and then charging a markup on those parts as well.If it's because you live in HI, I can get the stuff from summit for you if you need, that way everything can come USPS in one box.

I am curious if you happen to know where to get the cam tensioner tool #3366 besides ebay (unless the ebay junk is good enough). If not, thanks anyway and bump for a good product from a great company!

so after Bobs suggestion, Joey made the said plate and finished this job.and we took the cams to 112 deg instead of the 106 deg they called for on the advice of Pete and Bob and Collin (IE, QED, TT)
after this, the head was boroscoped to verify clearance for valve to piston. all is well.
Joey @ DJM, you DA MAN!!!!!! and thanks to Pete, Bob, Collin for their advice and input

Would there be any interest in a rental program on these? Maybe too expensive for most people to park in their toolboxes permanently...
