found this via google. twin oettinger 16vs in a rocco
this one is pretty cool too
they also speak of prototype turbo rocco...
When i was in NYC, i was eating at a restaurant with my friend when Bill Murray passed by, took a french fry from our basket, dipped it in ketchup, ate it and said:"No ones ever going to believe you" before walking out.
I helps when you have the PVW poster of both cars on yer wall.. But yea, Big Ron sold the shell then built it for the new owner. Baseball glove stitched TT seats & dash. Shaved R32. Everything else is pretty much the same as when BR had it. This is the Babe Ruth...Mickey Mantle...Dale Ernhardt...Michael Jordan of the VW world. The list of "first car to do..." is endless.
And since i'm on the subject...(Legends )
(C&P'd from "The best of the best" thread on another board)http://www.vwgolf.net.au

Rebuilt over the last few years, it was already a show winner with a BMW Mini dash install, carbed 16v engine and perfect stance, most would be happy with it. Not Russ, he took the car off the road and completly re-built it to a mind blowing standard.

Pretty cool. I have a buddy in Ohio that made one. Twin 2L 16v's. Quite fun to ride in:
^^ Looks like a copy of Scott Mason's car to me ...
Carl 'Shakey' Shakespear's Immaculate Schwartz valver
