      My current setup

And the set of RF's I'm building. Final specs should be front: 17x9+12(after a 19mm adapter) and rear: 17x9.5+12(after 19mm adapter). Just using a set of test lips for the measure up.

Feeling nostalgic. These are from the last time she saw daylight. sigh. I need to get my **** together and get her back on the road. Miss driving her.

      17x9 w/195/40s and 17x10 w/205/40s. Offsets are in the -15 to -20 range, can't remember.

That was when I first threw them on.
The wheels were ABT A16's in 17x7.5 ET 35 I believe with no spacers.
      The tires are 195/40/17 conti's

more than 90% of mk3s driving around don't have what you've mentioned...so I don't know how whats been said doesn't make sense to you...
EDIT: so my statement was for the general mk3 public
but your entitled to your opinion of course...and again i think 17s are perfect for mk3s and 16s are cool if the car is dumped! cuz otherwise the gap just looks stupid...
One more since this is a pic thread at the end of the day.....

Now this... is one of the most impressive conditions I saw here so far. By the way, I loved these headlights!! Please tell me more about it, is it customized? Where can I buy them??

Not sharing here until I get lowering springs. but...to anyone considering 17's on a mk3...make sure you plan on doing your suspension soon after (if not before), you won't regret it.

My current setup - 17x7.5 NS Racing Wheels (NS1507) and tires are Lexani LX-SEVEN 205/40ZR/17. On OEM springs there is a gap...my goal is to close that gap by the time spring hits.
