    Technically driven by myself...

I ended up taking it for a test drive one night while drunk at 12 years old Well... I ended up crashing into a wall at 50mph in a turn My dad sure did kick my ass that night.

What car is that? My grandpa had the exact same car in Bulgaria, pretty sure he still has it.

It's a Fiat 124, but it was also produced under license by many other manufacturers. Like Lada and Seat.

Couldn't find a pic of the '65 Chevy Biscayne but this Caprice is pretty close, same car almost. Had a 283 with a powerglide trans, total dog but was great to drive on Ohio roads during the winter.

My grandpa's Marquis. I remember driving it around his friend's farm and doing burnouts when nobody was looking. I was 12.

    Rewind to 1984.

Imagine it in tan with the woody sides and wire wheel hubcaps.

The Dodge wagon was soon followed by one of these to begin manual transmission training. 1979 Jeep CJ-7 Renegade, 304 V-8, 3-speed manual.

It was just like this Oldsmobile. Grandpa let me drive at 13 years. Loved how the car smelled like gasoline whenever you walked by it. Memories!

First car driven from lap. (I know, it's not driving, but it was my first taste)

    First car I actually operated.

No, I didn't wait 40 years before sitting in the seat. Dad restored an A when I was a kid.

Driving from my dad's lap... I'm sure he had to move the beer can out from between his legs first.

1977 Pontiac Ventura - my folks bought it new in '77, I first drove in '84 when I was 16.

    1969 Ford F100 300 I6 - 3 on the tree

I had to drive it around the farm when I was ~8-9 while my dad shoveled hay to the cows. I had wood blocks taped to my feet so I could work the pedals. I grew up such a hick.

I got my permit back in June and the first car I drove was my Dad's 2012 Grand Cherokee Overland 5.7 Hemi. Exactly like this one.

My mom's '50 Buick Special Sedan. This one had a Roadmaster motor (straight-eight) and 4.56 rear end and a "3-in-the-tree" manual transmission. This is not the actual car, mom's was metallic Peacock Green. Mom was pretty cool...

The golf is the first I've ever driven. It was my brothers car and was manual . Had already parked other cars before the Golf but never really drove them. The Protege is still mine.
