Season is about a month away now (Jan 17) and Fox has started to put out the commercials and pics and stuff. Season takes place in New York City, CTU is back, and there's an assassination threat.

I'm currently watching the 4th season on DVD. It's so refreshing not having to watch Kim just runnin' around like a chicken that just had it's head lopped off.

Yeah each episode represents an hour in the "24 hours" of the day. There is a clock that shows what the time of the day is throughout the episode, like at the start and before and after commercial breaks.

I think jack can be killed off. I just don't see that happening until the 24 movie.... If they do kill him off.

It's a NYC threat, not LA or DC. Jack will continue touring the country in future seasons. I can't wait for Omaha!

I've seen all the seasons, except last season. I saw maybe the first 1/3rd or half. When Tony and Jack were working together at the shipyard with the containers, then Jack drove off in the semi. What ended up happening to Tony? What about the former head of CTU, what became of him?

Bill was killed saving the POTUS, taking Jack's place during a suicide play. Odd you didn't know that, I think that happened before shipyard sequence - it was the end of the Sangala arc. Tony was shot twice by Jack and arrested for treason.

Tony really rode the line hard between good guy and bad guy last season.

I don't know whether the writers should be commended or shot.

Still pretty fresh for me - we did a "24" marathon for new years day, to sort of gear up for the upcoming season. You see lots more inconsistencies watching eps all in a row, which was interesting.
