What little details need to be completed?

It runs and drives but is it a driver?

Its a driver for sure. It needs interior stuff like the speaker tray in the back. needs to be custom because of the conversion. all the rubber grommets on the fire wall need install for some reason TST forgot to put those in. The covers underneath dash need install. I have a final drive from a VR6 that needs install because it has the G60 final drive. So its geared pretty short right now. just stuff like that that i can think of. But yes i drove it for a while till last summer when it got to hot to drive with no A/C.
All the major expensive stuff is done and working right. The car needs some sway-bars which i never got, that would be my next step. It also needs a sender unit for the gas gauge which any MKII sender would do.

You definitely did have a Red MK2. it was a '91 16V GTI you sold to me here in AZ not too long ago. sadly it was totalled by a 16Y/O girl who "thought the light was green"

It was a sad day, the car was very clean.

Man I'm very sad to see that. That sux. I do remember your car But what Dan is talking about was 7 years ago I only had your car for about 1 and a half before I sold it. hope the girl was OK.

I blame it on the economyy more money you put into your car harder it is to get even some of it back
