    Thread: Best way to get most money out of scrapping a totalled car

      need advice on getting the most money for this pile of heap.

      my future mother in law is crazy and got herself in an accident and the whole driver side is smashed in. the frame is definitely compromised as you can see in the pic. she is ok, fortunately.

      airbags did not pop. car is in El Segundo.

      craigslist is your friend call around for motor prices at junkyards then ask .75 of it.
      autocrats...

      call around for some yards, see what they will give you. Then go to craigslist and price it for a fair price. I would say less than 1000 depending on the damage.

      send it to auction. junk yards attend those. $500 maybe...call your local tow yards or auction houses. They will tell you whats up. Later,ED
