I spent some time tonight assembling Ikea puzzles as well. The TSS may be reasonable, but the IF is too low for my liking.

The furniture was solid wood and heavy as hell! I think the IF was @ .40-45!

same route as last sunday, ~34miles, temps much warmer mid 30s F. Rode at social pace with my friend, I felt pretty strong.

Got out early last morning and did a 14 miles loop at Annadel with a couple friends. Just in time too. A five day storm just moved in yesterday afternoon.

    2:15 ride time
    75 km
Windy and rain, but 60+ degrees
Picked the route to have the tailwind home. Rolling along at 25-35 mph for the last hour was glorious!

2:05 ride outside, 25 degrees F, miserably cold. Were supposed to do LT intervals but it was too icy on the roads. That, sadly, means that I'm still faced with a 1h30 trainer workout tonight. We'll see whether I get to it or not ...

1h10m on the stationary, with one of the Carmichael DVDs. First interval training i've ever done. I managed to lose my stats on the machine though.

Watched Braveheart while on the trainer today; ~200 miles for the week (thurs, fri, sat, and today). Couldn't breathe well enough due to a cold to get on the bike tuesday or wednesday.

Rode last night. About a two hour bmx session on the streets with my friend. Great time. Can't wait for the rain to stop so I can get back to going out everyday.

26 miles out to one of my favourite local hills and back. I tried using the imapmyride app on the iphone for the hill, it's on our of our club rides so i've been working on the cue sheets over the winter.

Finally got out for a ride yesterday, first in nearly 2 months. Just under 10 miles, but with 1,500ft climbing (and descending ) it still hurt a bit.

I missed the annual MLK, day-off-for-no-good reason ride today. 18 guys, 75 miles, 21.5 average...followed by Mexican food and beers...

Damn kids and wife with a good job!

I started training pretty late this year so I'm just getting started on base. I took a month off after 'cross season ended partly because of a long season and partly because a close friend and teammate died in December. Last week was week 1 but it's alright since I don't plan on peaking until late June.

Anyway, today was 2.5 hrs on the trainer taking it easy in zone 1/2. Tomorrow it's to the gym and then 1 hr easy on the trainer. Hope you all in better climates are taking advantage riding outside.

2.5 hours on the trainer last night. It feels like my zones are shifting (for the good) so I need to retest next week. Definitely not looking forward to that

Only managed 35min on the trainer last night. Watched Wheel of Fortune and picked it up every time someone bought a vowel.

What's your routine for a zone test? I need to do one as well.
