      Super glue. Really!

      Or...

There is this stuff that is meant to fill in the cracks on cracked leather seats. It's like paint and somehow it perfectly fills in the cracks. I don't know what it is or what it's called. The previous owner of my 1986 RX7 just gave me the can when I bought the car. A year later the cracks started showing again so I painted this stuff on, and they were gone! It was the wierdest thing ever.

I've got a nearly new DSG wheel if you need; no scratches, chicklets instead of soft touch. PM me.

It's just a silver can full of magic stuff that's like liquid leather. I have no clue what it is or how it works, I just use it.

Doesnt look deep. I'd trim the flap off as close as you can, with either some cuticle scissors or some sharp finger nail clippers.

Personally, I would live with the nik. Ive had my trucks leather steering wheel "re-paired" and it has never felt and looked the same since. It actually looked worse 2 months later after the dye began to peel up, which was caused by the sweat pumps that are my hands.

Get one of those krazy glue pens with the really tiny tip, I think it should fix it so it looks decent.
