My 12 has the 110v outlet in the center console and cup holder in the armrest but no storage.

You should be able to remove the outlet and put the cup holder in if that is what you wanted.

Odd, my 2011 SE 2.5 is loaded and I just have the storage in the rear, no cupholder or outlet. And no Aux or 12v outlet anywhere in the center console, other than the ashtray.

My 2010 has a little cubby underneath the rear AC vents.

12V outlets are located in the ashtray and the trunk. MDI under the Arm rest. No 110V.

What is the best offset to go with for our cars, if I go with 18 x 8.5 wheels, not sure if I want to do a 18 x 9.5 in the rear. Is 40mm good? I was also on a site where it allows you to select the center bore as well, I have no idea what that is.

I am running the 18x8.5 Snowflakes which have an offset of +45. This is what they look like:

I personally really like it. No spacers, lines up with the fenders nicely.

9.5 is possible, for sure, but you might want to start considering pulling your rear arches.

Center bore is the size of the center hole on the back face of the wheel. It is slightly tapered to allow for the wheel to mount snugly to the hub. If I remember correctly, VW uses a 57.1 mm center bore. Most aftermarket wheels come with plastic rings to adapt the center bore to fit multiple makes.

Thank you, that looks perfect! I think I'll do 8.5" all the way around, I thought that was what they meant and you can get it with hubcentric rings but then I was wondering if you needed to know what size hubcentric ring etc, starts getting confusing. lol

So if I understand this correctly also, would +40 make them stick out further or would they be closer in towards the brakes etc.

Got this installed today. Major PITA compared to previous Homelink installs in two Mk IV Jettas and a B5.5 Passat.

Tried hooking it up right at the visor but ended up having to lower the headliner a bit in the front, remove the a-pillar trim, and remove the lower dash on the drivers side. Had to run a seperate power wire to the fusebox. I wired it up right to the back of the fusebox with its own constant power (Circuit 30) and a 5A fuse. Followed some factory wire and wrapped it to the OEM wiring with friction tape. If you pull any interior panels or the lower dash, you'd never know there was some wiring added.

Need to install my euro center console and foglight wiring next.

Looks nice! Where did you get the homelink visor? I have been toying with the idea of doing the homelink rear-view mirror but I don't think they have one that matches the color of the car and I think the black may not look right.

Ordered it online from a salvage yard. It was from a 2011 CC. Bought a matching pair in case the warning sticker was different but the passenger visor was identical to my stock one so I didn't use it.

Ok thanks that's good to know. I've never had much luck finding salvage parts online but I'll keep searching.

    most likely a TDi/Highline accessory.

Most JSW TDi's ahve the outlet.

My MKV Rabbit had the cupholders where the outlet is.

PITA to take out the outlet, cup holder removal is cake.

Another aftermarket LED drl option appears to have hit the market. At least this is the first time I've seen them:

x 2. Loving the "harmony etc."
Don't forget the "Its princispal features are uniformity of luminance, saturation of light color, constant lasting and clearance of cutting". Wondering bout that clearance of cutting stuff but it sounds good. I gotta put this on my watch list and see if/when there are any reviews. Cheers

Honestly looks cheap and have a feeling it would clash with your center lower grille.

Does anyone know if Mk V GTI or GLI interior fits the 2010+ JSW? Specifically a 2011 JSW with Titan "leatherette".

I am disliking the interior more and more and would like to swap the front and rear seats out for cloth GTI interior. Possibly the door panels as well if I can find them.

Guess the main concern would be the airbag seat motor connectors being the same.

Idk, looks kinda cheap, but at the same time id black out that chrome anyways and if the LED's matched the xenon bulb well, would be pretty nice output upgrade. price is kinda high though??

The front seats out of a mk5 gti do fit i have them in my jsw... U have to cut the yellow connectors an switch them from the jsw and then switch the passanger occupancy sensor just the module and reset the airbag light with vagcom. The rear seats the top switch but the bottoms do not fit since they r not split so would need to be redone by someone to look right.
