Which H&R springs did you end up getting (part#) and how much is it rated to drop (inches). How much did the springs cost you. I assume you are running on the stock shocks and using 225/40/18 tires. Any rubbing?

I'm not sure if the question is posed to me but I'll respond...
I'm running H&R Sports that I purchased from TireRack for approximately $220. H&R part number 54751 -- same as 2009 part number. I called H&R and they told me to order the 2009 part number as they had tested them on the 2010. The Sports drop you 1.5" front and rear.
I would suggest also ordering the VW Lowering Spring Kit hardware (http://www.cmgestore.com/vw08/SKUDet...VW269007.Asp). It has suspension limiters as well as other hardware that VW recommends be swapped when installing lowering springs. I did purchase and had installed with the springs...
I haven't rubbed once (some folks have after installing H&Rs -- research) under any circumstances and I do a lot of around town driving on some terrible roads. I'm not saying that the suspension limiters are the exact answer but I can tell that (1) I have them installed and (2) no rubbing whatsoever. Take it for what it's worth...

I really want those Chrome Exhaust tips, called VW dealer but they are not available yet in canada???. Anyone from Canada, were did you buy from?. I know there a guy in US who sell 15% over employee price but shipping and custom would be expensive. Is it easy to install?

If you're talking about the mat that I bought you have to go to ebay Canada. Try this link:

So can anyone comment on the potential interchangeability of the MkVI GTI grille insert and front bumper cover?
I think this would look really nice on the front of a Mk VI JSW.

Not too sure about the bumper cover but the grill looks good... look halfway down through this thread.

Here's what the '10 GTI Grill looks like on my JSW( sorry substandard iphone images-same images from the tdiclub forum link). I'm checking to see if the grill will fit as well, or other options. Fogs or LED running lights in the side grills to come.

I've got skirts and front spoiler being painted right now, as well as a set of H&R sports waiting for the weekend. Clear bra in the future also.
I'll post some better pics once I get all the upgrades.

That does look good. The TDI badge is a nice touch.
Id love to be able to do the whole front bumper cover/fascia as well.

Does this mean the GTI grill will fit the GOLF since it looks to share bumpers with the JSW?
And how much for the Grill?

The grill (part# 5K0853651ASATK) was $223.00 plus shipping from vw discount parts http://www.vwdiscountparts.com and the TDI badge (if you want it) is a B4 badge from ID Parts http://www.idparts.com)
I wanted to totally debadge the grill and not be a GTI Poser, but once you remove the badge the grill has solid backing right behind where it attaches. Looked at it to try to remove the extra plastic like you can on the 2009 GTI grill but it's a bit more complex and compact and would take a lot of fine work to make it look correct. So I just removed the GTI letters on the badge base and after some minor surgery on the back of the TDI Badge and some 3M doublestick, this is the result.

Grill looks good. Kudos. personally I would have used the same badging as the rear instead of the old B4 one but thats just me.

I think it would have looked strange, being how small it is. But the honeycomb grill looks sweet! Pun intended

Looks real good! I want to do the same thing but with a Golf GTD grille (chrome vs. red).

      Hi All.
Used to own a B6 Audi A4 stg 3 MTM kit and some other good mods. but a nice couple decided they wanted to hit me at an intersection. so the Audi was totaled.
But I work at a VW dealership so i have been waiting for good deal to come through the door.
And a couple weeks go a black on black 6 speed jetta TDI wagon came through the door and after PDI'ing it and after it sat on the lot for a couple weeks and i kept looking at it everyday i decided to get it.
Got it tinted this week, and waiting for someone to come out with a good coil kit to lower it.
      sorry i phone pics.

      Bunch of stuff.

I tried the TDi badge from the rear but It did look small - the B4 version is exactly the same letter height as the GTI I took off.

Snap! How much was the GTI grill? What car did the TDI emblem come from? My salsa red JSW TDI might just need these.
Oops, sorry didn't see there was a second page to this post with the questions already answered.

Any update on whether or not the GTI bumper cover will fit? Any part numbers available? I'm starting to think I might prefer to have the GTI front bumper over the whole available body kit for the wagen.

Call these guys. They put together some MK V to MK VI conversion kits so they would have a list of common parts, and could tell you what you'd need to buy. Please let us know-I'd love a GTI with a Golf front end.

I am very interested in this.
I would love to find out if it is possible to transplant the MkVI GTI bumper/valance onto a MkVI JSW. As shown elsewhere in this thread, the upper grille is pretty easy. Hoping the other bit is as well.
