    I'm undecided. I think the one running parallel with the slats on the bed would be most functional but it looks like isn't.

    I think closer to the edge would look best, I think it looks out of place more towards the center and not lined up with the rears.

    I agree with you, but closer to which edge? The front of the bed or on the bulkhead? I can't get any closer to the outside of the bed because I can't access the underside of it.

    They would pull right through the bed. These tie-downs have a metal bar that sandwiches the bed.

    I was gonna sleep, then I saw one friend share this with another friend on Facebook. Now I have class in 6 hours and need to sleep, but am absolutely blown away. Killer work man. I would love a project like this in my future. Check out my build if you have any interest in MK4s.
