I was at the u-pull it off peoria & 33 i believe. About 3 weeks ago I grabbed a headliner card for my gti, and a marker light. It was an late westy rabbit 2 dr. Not bad some interior parts, glass that I can remember.

There is a yard out by commerce city called sidewinder. If anyone is familiar with it, what's the story. I went there also and it looks to be closed down. Cement barriers across the entrance. If so that sucks! they had alot of mk1's last time I was there.

What sucks about junk yards is if your not the first person to steal parts from a car the parts you need are always busted cause the jerk before you needed something else and hammered his way in to get it

g-60 corrado pull n save there last weekend has red dot interior and other goodies 1-3-2010

thats about all worth mentioning there was afew jettas and golfs there too

Sidewinder clsoed down late last year. THe owner got tired of the junkyard business. He had all cars crushed and is converting to a storage yard.

i went by there just after they closed. What a bunch of crap. There are quite a few more in the greeley area that were bought out by andersons. He's shredding everything in every yard he buys.

There were 3-4 at 66th & Broadway in early December. That yard always has a ton of Mk3s.

I was at Colorado off Oxford/Santa Fe a couple days ago after picking up some stuff from Painters Supply.

Most of the cars are pretty picked over, but this is what I remember

3 or 4 Mk3 Jetta 2.0's (none had fuel pumps)
1 Passat VR6 (motor is all there)
2 small bumper mk2 Jetta's
1 early 80's cabriolet
1 big bumper mk2 Golf
1 big bumper teal green metallic mk2 Jetta GLI (no head, power windows, not much interior left, overall pretty picked over)

I am going to the Pull-N-Save on peoria and 33rd this friday (1-15-10), i will let you all know what i find in there. will take some pics too...

the corrado is still at pull-n-save. parts are starting to disappear though. there's also an early mk2 golf with no brake light in the rear window...

went to the u-pull N pay on broadway and 66th on friday (1-15-10).

They had a 96 vr passat, most everything was there. I pulled the intake for kevin.
they had a couple mk3 jettas, mostly trashed or gutted. one white, one Porcline Blue.
One white mk3 cabrio, good amount of parts left.
several early mk2 golfs, 2 and 4 door.
One early 94 4dr mk3 golf. has black plastic side moldings, non airbag steering wheel, everyting was there. looked relatively new.

I took the mk3 mud flaps, non airbag glove box from the 94 golf. i may go back and get other parts.

Yeah and people will chop a harness to save, what 30 seconds, to get the ECM.

I'm still looking for a VR6 obd1 engine bay harness that goes from the big plug to the fuse box. Was thinking about going obd2 but decided against it. If you see one and pull it, I'll be happy to pay you for your troubles. I can even swap you an vr6 ECM if you're interested.

U-pull @ 66th and Broadway had a lot of mk3s and mk2s but mostly all done. The junkyard across that one had a red mk3 jetta pretty complete tho. Anyone knows where i can find mk4s?

The Pull 2 Save at Colfax & Tower has a pretty complete 4000 as of yesterday (Sunday.)

I also just posted about the GTI Caddy out there...That was before I realized that this thread existed...

I know this is a long shot, but if anybody sees any Vanagons or Eurovans anywhere, could you post here?

I try to hit Pull-n-Save in Aurora and the previously mentioned yard about once every two weeks. I'll post what I see.

I just got back from pull and pay off colfax and zeno. This is what i can remember.
-Cabby truck with mk2 gti seats, no steering wheel engine mostly there
-mk1 jetta black, and a white one
-mk1 cabriolet with good seats and interior
-rabbit diesel injection pump missing
-2 mk3 passats
-picked apart mk4 lighter blue jetta

hum thats what i can picture from memory.
