Does anyone know of any junkyards within 90 minutes or so of Monument, CO (pretty much anyplace from Denver to Pueblo) that has a solid MkIV golf which I could get my hands on.I totaled my car and want to save the money insurance is giving me. So I just need things like...

Fans...Color does not matter or anything cause my heap will get repainted.

at the upull and pay there is a 90 corrado that was resprayed a gunmetal grey, not too much left on it the interrior is red dot and somewhat clean
there also was a burgandy rabbit that was ok
a few mk2 jettas
a quantium decent
2 older bugs both molested
2 mk4 jettas both were pretty trashed
a 1990 fox clean
Not worth my 2 hour drive down there

Check with RS Motorsports for Mk4 parts. They have a Jetta right now, and have other used parts in stock. Mk4's are starting to show up in the yards, but usually are picked clean pretty fast. If I see some I'll post.

well i went to check out the car. its a 95 GTI Vr6. Grille still there. i took the fog lights and some misc interior and exterior parts. looked like the side skirts were still there. dude said the car ran before it went there and car had 126k miles. engine and tranny still there. also brakes there but they didnt look that great. rear sway bar still there, has a mk3.5 cabby steering wheel. i think that car was for sale long time ago here. has those crazy two tone leather seats.

Pull n Save off of Peoria and 33rd
May 17 2010
I pulled the control arms off of a MKIII 2.0 Jetta. Has what appears to be Bilstein Shocks and red lowering springs. The car was white, had a black grille which I pulled off but then left next to the car as it was cracked.
There's also a cracked Westy Grill on a White MKII Golf.
Thoroughly picked Scirocco
Fairly complete MKIII VR6 Golf, 2 B4 VR6 Passats (snatched the battery cables for MKII upgrade)
A few pretty much unmolested MKII Jettas (snatched a Digifant FPR now my MKII runs perfect!!!).
Some sort of Audi with a CIS (e?) turbo set up.

Went today. The white mk2 Golf is still there, it's an '85 so it has the rear glass without a brake light or spoiler. Still some good parts left on the couple mk2 Jettas. Also the Mk3 GTI and 2 Mk3 Jettas with VR6 motors still there. There's also a fairly complete Mk2 Jetta GLI 8v. Also a couple Passats VR and 16v. Originally Posted by nich.j.anderson

U-Pull&Pay at 66/Broadway has a few mk2 Jettas (one with Metrodubs sticker). Also a cabriolet and Rabbit GTI. Several Passats.
After going to 3 yards in the hot sun today, it all runs together so hopefully I got it all correct.

Don't you just love it when the part you need, has already been nicely pulled off the car and is just sitting there waiting for you
Course the opposite is when some muppet rips it out and leaves it there broken
Had the former happen recently so happy!
Oh, and there's a primer gray MK2 Jetta with Jamex springs on it at 66th and Broadway. Had Metrodubs stickers on it. Fronts might have been cut...

That car has been there for about a month.. Probly gonna get removed soon! So you better hurry!!

Went to Pull N Save today. There were several late mk2's. A Calypso Jetta was picked over. I needed a hood, bumper and fender. Someone snagged the hood and the bumper/fender were trashed. Sometimes it sucks having a unique color car. Also a bunch of mk2 doors were missing, were they having a sale on doors?

Today, U Pull U Pay had I think 7 MK3 Jetta's, 1 MK3 Golf, a 96 Passat wagon VR6, a red 86 Golf GT, 2 B5 Passat's and a white Cabby with interesting 1980's wheels.
Also saw a Toyota with 3 pretty clean snowflakes.
Place charges to much but...
Plus there was a mk1 Scirocco that had had a BAE turbo kit on it!

Oh, and I pulled the Bilsteins off the Scirocco but they wanted $17.99 each, so I left them at the counter.
They were ratty looking with surface rust and may have had some lowering springs.
I think they were Bilstein Sports.
Could still be worth what they were asking, but more than I wanted to pay.
I also left the Spearco Injection cooler behind (I think that was what it was called) at the counter.

Ok.. so who's idea is it to let the same cars sit for 4 weeks at a time now???
I'm looking for:
Nice untorn black carpeting set for my mk2 4 dr jetta.
Black or grey leather front/rear untorn and non-power seats from a mid 80 early 90 audi quattro. Tons of seats.... but all damaged in some way...
5 speed tranny, clutch, and torque tube for a 928.... he he yeah right!!!
The pull n pay on colfax and tower... those f--kers are just out to rip you off... If you can get it from colorado or 33rd you're better off... support the little guys or they'll get bought out too.I like European cars. I am looking for Foxes... Would love to know if anyone has spotted any! I have been to what seems like every yard in the area (Denver, Aurora, Arvada, etc) and have never seen one.
I am looking for quite a few parts, and if I wasn't hard out on cash, I would just buy an intact vehicle off of Craigslist... But, that's not gonna happen unless I run into some money, so any help is greatly appreciated

Dead thread revival...
Pull n Save had a B4 with Bilsteins on the front. Really clean, looked newish.
Also had cross drilled rotors on the front.
Just outside the entry doors with some American stuff??
