I wear a G daily for work (bridge inspection), and you can't beat it.

    Mine's a GW2000BD, your 6900 is sharp though!

I wear a G-Shock as my work watch, Field Construction Engineer. They're great watches and you can't kill them.

got this for xmas to replace my other g shock from 7 years ago.

the band will wear out long before the watch does.

No watch collection is complete without a G-Shock.

All time favourite is the all titanium Frogman.

kinda neat. Unless its direct sunlight, the display is almost unreadable...(stealth?)

you Have to push the light button to read the display.
    different/quirky... I like it.

    Actually this is a Frogman
    My white GW206K
What separates the FROGMAN from 99% of the rest of the G-Shock range, is the full titanium case and screw back which reside under that hunk of polyurethane. All other G-Shock's feature a plastic/resin case with a metal plate black that is secured to the plastic case 4 via screws. After a few batter changes, the resin threads tend to strip.
The Frogman is also the only G-Shock that is a true ISO certified diver.

    Titanium screw back....

    I'm currently thinking about either:

    or

Model numbers GA 100-1A1 and GA 110C-7A respectively. But they are kinda hard to find in real stores to check out.

I've got one too. I wear it at the gym, or when I'm on the golf course. I like knowing that it can take some abuse and still be there. I dont have to worry about dinging it, scratching a crystal, or messing up a movement through shocks or bumps.

Wifey got me the GA-100-1A2 as an early birthday gift. Loving the style. But kinda hard to read in dark/low light rooms. It matches the "ICS Blue" of my Gnex nicely!

    Bad pics coming right up...
