The shock is pretty much the exclusive watch for most of the US Navy. Almost everyone on my submarine wore one and wouldn't go underway without it.

I've always wondered how the white ones look after wearing them for a while. Do they turn yellowish or get dingy? I don't mind it getting beat up, I just wonder if they get kinda nasty.

I have a white one, might be my last pair because the backside of the strap does turn brownish from your skin ( and it's not because I'm dirty )

I got this one in 1993, and it's been a tank of a watch since new - never breaking and only two battery replacements.

Had this one for a couple weeks now. Like it because it's simple, rugged, is solar powered and links up with the atomic clock nearby in Fort Collins so i know it's accurate.

though I'm not a fan of G-Shocks (too cyberpunk-ish for me), there is quite a collectors market for them, since there is a bunch of different styles and limited editions. I always keep my eye out for them at thrift stores and garage sales.

I like the more subtle G-shocks, and I've been needing a rugged watch since I ditched my Luminox Black Out last year...time to go shoppin' (also my daily wear (Edit: Seiiko) is off-center now...need to replace it for work duty).
