So I've been following this tread and checking out the progress pics but haven't been doing much reading in the tread.

Question. How come you spent all that time and effort to spray the car blue but now you've gone and redone everything and have it back in primer? Are you preparing for a full-on professional respray?! What color are you doing next?

I like the car and wish I had a 24v VR instead of this 1.8T. I'd probably want to keep my car then!

Well as you know the car I picked up as a salvage, and had it restored. I had it for a year now and did not want to rock all the colors and body work so the rattle can was a temporary thing till now. Im preping for Wuste Fest so the car is going to be painted. Got estimates yesturday from ICC Auto body. To stick to the cool white which is original its going to run my $750.00 as is with the body work done and primer. My goal was to go Gunmetal Pearl. thats going to run me $1250.00 including door jams. Thats without the engine bay. I want to bag it before the event as well so my best way is to stick with the white and get it ready for this june in Vegas!
