How is the quality on Invictas?
I see some of em are made in Swiss but does that make a difference?

    2. 02-26-2010 09:33 PM #102
the invicta is a varation of similiar face design swatch put out in the 90's on one of their chronos......the case is different of course

I'm not sure what watch MAUSLICK is referring to but Invicta has created a very unique one-of-a-kind piece with this watch and many others are attempting to copy it.
In answer to your original question, Invicta is a brand that has been around since 1837. They are a large company that owns several other brands. The price range of their watches goes from around $50 up to a few thousand.
As for quality, I can only speak for my own experience. I own 7 Invictas and I have been very satisfied with them so far. Some of my Invictas were made in Switzerland and some were made in Japan or elseware. You pay more (of course) for Swiss made watches and movements but the Invictas I own that were assembled in Asia or have Citizen Miyota movements have been perfectly reliable. I think that Invicta offers an excellent value. My favorite Invicta for example, I've worn at least 9 months out of the year for the last 5 years. It has a ETA 2824 automatic movement, sapphire crystal, is 500 meters water resistant and is solid stainless steel. I paid $250. I've NEVER seen a comparable watch in this price range.
I know I must sound like a spokesman or something but I really believe in the value you get from them.

Yeah, I have 2 Invictas (one quartz and one auto) and they are great quality. They feel like $2k-$3k watches and cost under a grand. I would buy any Invicta without hesitation.

a co-worker has a bunch of invictas and they've all been fine. I have a Russian diver and a lupah he gave me and they're holding up fine. Only complaint about them is the lume is weak as hell.

I have 3 invictas and i love them all. They really do feel like you spent 8 times more than you really did. I get compliments on mine all the time. They have cutting edge design which most watch brands dont have..If you wanna know more check out http://www.watchgeeks.net

I have 10 invictas and love them all. I find myself wearing them as much or more often then my tag, etc.
great quality, fit and finish for the price. Some of mine were sub 100.00 and some well up to 1k
I say if you have any question, go for it. you won't be dissapointed

My latest purchase.....ORIS Divers Small Second "C" 47mm. The ceramic bezel is just awesome. Almost impossible to scratch and will not fade no matter how long it is exposed to UV. ORIS has really made a huge leap forward by employing a ceramic bezel as very few watch-houses use ceramic on their diver's!

And by that are you referring to the designs that they steal from nearly every reputable watch manufacturer? Invicta doesn't have an original design in their line! Cheap pieces of ****.

Ahhh...gotta love the newbie-elitists. Your "stealing" argument is very naive. Enjoy your Omega.

LOLOLOL at a self-proclaimed elitist calling me a noob while defending INVICTA of all brands. GTFO of here with your pseudo-quality low rent quartz bull****.
