Hello all,
If you don't know me, my name is Dave and i have been a long time Vortex member. I have recently started working for Vw, AUdi, Porsche in Long Island, NY. Since starting i wanted to do something for my fellow tri-state enthusiasts, and after sitting down with my Dealer Principal and also Volkswagen Corporate they have given me the green light.I will be hosting a pre show season kick-off car show! The Car Show will be on April 11th 2010 (Sunday) From 9:30 AM til 4:00 PM. This will be the first time that any Long Island Vw, audi dealership has ever hosted their own car show! You do not need to be showing your vehicle in order to attend, all are welcome so please bring your children your dogs, even your cats if you really want too! Now on to the specifics.
Event: Legend Auto Groups 1st annual Vw, Audi, Porsche Car show
Date: April 11th 2010 ( Rain or shine)
Time: 9:30 AM til 4:00 PM
Address: 158 Merrick Rd. Amityville, N.Y. 11701
Cost: FREE!!Eligible Cars: Any Volkswagen or Audi
Judging and Prizes: This car show will be every man for themselves style. There will not be a break down of different categories for example: Mk1 Class, MK2 Class etc. It will be 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for Vw, and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place for best Audi. The judging will mainly be based upon physical condition, cleanliness, and detail. I personally will not be a judge, but 3 of my co-workers will be. They are all very knowledgable about the product and do not know anyone attending so there will be no acts of favoritism towards anyone in particular. The car show attendees will need to be checked-in before 9:15 AM and will have prime parking in the center of the car show.For People not Showing: Due to high car volume there will be a parking lot across the street from the dealership that you can park your cars in and they will be safe. There is no cost at all to you to come and enjoy the day and see some beautiful Vw's and Audi's! As i stated earlier please bring whomever you please.
Show Cars: There is no cost to you in order to show your vehicle, but i do need you to all be checked-in before 9:15 AM. A check-in desk will be set-up inside of the dealership.
Volkswagen & Audi of America will be attending this event, as well as Forcefed Engineering with their Race Car. I have hired a Dj for the event so there will be music.

There will be police monitoring the traffic into and out of the parking lot, so please NO BURNOUTS, Smoke shows, or horsing around with vehicles, b/c i don't want anyone to get tickets. As long as the turnout is great, we will have more of these shows to come, and at no cost to you it won't hurt to swing through and look at some great vehicles!
I will have some of my dealership cars on display for you all to see. Audi Rs4, 2010 Audi S4, 2010 Audi S5 Convertible.

Thanks for the clean=up vdubpl!This is gonna be a great day, and make sure you mark the date on your calendars! Check-in ends at 9:15Am so get there early and you will have two hours to continue to shine up the cars!

it's gonna be a great turn out!A quick update: there will be one or two aftermarket vw/audi accesorie vendors there with some parts for sale... So if you are looking for anything, i'm working on having them give a car show discount for the attendees!
